O americano Marc Ching, fundador da “Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation”, e a sua namorada salvaram mil cães que seriam comidos durante o Festival de Carne de Cão de Yulin. O evento acontece todos os anos na província de Guangxi, na China.
Ching fingiu ser um comprador do festival e resgatou mil cães que iriam ser cozinhados. “Todos os anos, várias pessoas protestam mas nunca acontece nada. Eu fui lá e simplesmente “acabei” com esses matadouros”, disse.
O melhor de tudo é que o ativista e a sua namorada conseguiram transportar todos os animais até aos Estados Unidos, onde estão agora a ser muito bem tratados.
Porque esse bando de vagabundos não plantão milho, arroz e feijão, por exemplo?
